MAC Pro Longwear Extended Play - Review, Photos, Swatches

MAC Pro Longwear in Extended Play is a rich brick-red shade that's almost brown. The color reminds me of traditional clay pots, actually. It's a dark type of red, but a little less vampy than Runaway Red. I want to compare this to Diva once I get my tube. ;)

The Pro Longwear formula is like satin, only it's more long wearing. It's opaque, creamy but semi-matte. The packaging is also different so its easier to distinguish. I'm not really a fan of this packaging because it could be messy when you're trying to twist down the lipstick (you have to push it with your finger half way down).

PROS: Formula is just perfect: opaque, creamy texture but looks like its semi-matte when applied, quite long wearing, and the color is not that intimidating.
CONS: I don't like the packaging. It's a little more expensive than the regular MAC lipsticks, but I think it's worth it.

VERDICT:

I will repurchase when I don't find something better.

  1. I have this too! and it's one of my favorite red lipstick. It doesn't fade even after eating.

I followed you, I hope you follow me back.
