Christmas isn't Christmas without Gift Giving in SM City Manila

What is the essence of giving gifts during Christmas?

It's making people feel happy, remembered and loved or at least, makes them feel less lonely.
I'm not just talking about gifts that come in a box, gift wrapped and tied with a bow. There are gifts that are tangible, and there are those that only our hearts can see and feel. How wonderful it is to get your dream phone or car this Christmas, but nothing beats spending the holidays with your loved ones. :)
The act of giving is a gift itself already. It's a gift to yourself; the fulfillment knowing you made someone or some people happy is probably one of the best feelings in the world.

And that is precisely what SM City Manila is encouraging everyone to do. :)

SM City Manila recently launched their Christmas program with their display, Santa Claus and a bag full of gifts. The occasion was graced by the honorable Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim who also served as a Ninong (godfather) to the kids of Caritas. SM City Manila's goal is to remind everyone that giving gifts (tangible or not) during Christmas, especially to those who are less fortunate or those who need it more is a great way to spread the Christmas spirit. Christmas is for everyone, regardless of age or stature in life.
So why shouldn't we share our blessing whenever we can? :)

A great way to share the Christmas spirit is by involving the whole community.
SM City Manila, like all SM Supermalls, is encouraging everyone to help out even in the smallest or simplest ways. One way is by participating in the SM Cares Bears program.
For P100, you will get 2 bears - 1 bear to keep and 1 bear will be given to a child this Christmas.
A pretty sweet deal, knowing you'll make a child(or children) happy this Christmas, right? :)

The Santa Claus display is located at the events center at the UGF of SM City Manila :)
