iWhiteKorea Skin Whitening Vita Facial Cream - Review, Photos, Swatches

Have you tried using makeup base / face primers? I have. It's a must especially when I have to attend special events. It's an essential tool to make your makeup last longer.

iWhite Korea Skin Whitening Vita Facial Cream is a 3-in-1 product: a sunscreen, whitening, and a makeup base. Though I would suggest you still apply a sunscreen with higher SPF (this only has 15), with SPF is still better than nothing. For the whitening part, it does give a brighter and fairer effect when used. I like it best as a makeup base. It's creamy enough so you can apply it smoothly. It has the brand's signature scent (is that the Mulberry? Not sure) that's not bothersome. I really love wearing it under my powder foundation because it gives a smooth canvas. I'm happy it matches my skin tone very well, but if you're on the morena side, I suggest you use a powder that matches your shade over it and use (this facial cream) sparingly.

It gives a satin finish, so my T-zone got a oily after a couple of hours (something an oil-blotting paper can fix). And you know what comes after an oily face..yes, a stupid zit. Urgh. But for the price, you really can't complain much.

Enough for my face and neck
BARE FACE
WHEN APPLIED
With FULL MAKEUP ON
AFTER 2HRS: A little dewy on my nose and cheeks
PROS: a 3-in1 product, makes skin a perfect canvas for powder foundation, makes my skin brighter, no pungent smell, affordable, locally available

CONS: can get a little cakey when applied too much, comes in 1 shade only, may not compliment all skin tones, not best suited for oily skin

VERDICT:

I will repurchase when I don't find something better.

    1. Hi Romm!

I think it's okay even if you're a boy :) About the breakouts, it's really a case-to-case basis. What works for me may not work for you. But I think it's worth the try :)

      Thanks!
