Outfit Of The Day: Vintage Rebel

"All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

This dress was supposedly worn with the green slim belt that it came with. I really like the classic cut of this dress, it can actually look vintage with the right accessories. The part that made it it look a little more modern is the fabric: its jersey. It clings just in the right places. :)

I had a job interview that day, so I know I had to wear something "formal". But because I am eager to inject my own style (the usual corporate style bores me to death), I wore it with my studded lace-up boots, leather belt, and the classic black cardigan.

What I Wore:

Dress - SM Girls Teens' Wear, P499.75
Cardigan - Eastwood Bazaar, P150
Tights - Landmark, P189.75
Boots - Asian Vogue
Belt - from a friend

Outfit Of The Day: Boots Can Be Girly

I was feeling all girly that Saturday night. It was (supposedly) the last weekend of summer, so might as well enjoy it with one of my very few floral dresses. I'm not exactly the girly girl, but I sure enjoy being one once in a while. I was off to SM Mall Of Asia with my college buddies, and knowing we will be walking around, heels is not an option.

One of my fashion philosophies:
You can never go wrong with a pretty pair of flat boots. :)

What I Wore:

Blue Calvin Klein Blazer - Thrifted
Floral dress - Landmark, P229.75
Boots - Zara, P2,495
Bag - H&M, 150HKD

Outfit Of The Day: Chilipina In Hong Kong

If there's such a thing as a "Chilipina Outfit", this would be it. I'm not exactly the feminine type who loves ruffles and frills. If its not comfortable, I won't wear it (I don't/can't wear heels UNLESS necessary). I've always had this affinity with J-Pop and K-Pop inspired outfits: boots, tights, mini skirt, cute shirts, and blazers. Good thing it was pretty cold in Hong Kong so I finally got to wear everything that I can't in the Philippines.

Who said big girls can't be chic in cold weather?

P.S. I was do bummed I couldn't curl my hair that day. >__<

Outfit Of The Day: Dry Winter in Hong Kong

Did I mention it was freakin' cold in Hong Kong? It was sunny, yes, but the wind is really cool. It felt like dry winter, so I had to wear layers of clothing.

We were supposed to go around and visit the awesome sceneries of Hong Kong (inlcuding Disneyland, but we ended up shopping instead, HAHAHA!) that's why I was wearing everything that could protect me from the cold.

This is what I came up with when I wanted to layer up.
Yes, almost everything is in black because it's flattering but I tried using colors here and there, too. :)
