Outfit Of The Day: Buckle It Up With Gold

It was my nephew's baptism and of course, I'm a godmother.
I wanted to wear something popping and colorful with my usual black blazer, tights, and wedges, so I chose this bright salmon (pink orange) a-line dress that I paired with this fabulous belt with gold buckle.

I really like wearing belts in the narrowest part of my mid section because it compliments my curves. ;)

What I Wore:

Blazer - Redhead by SM Girls Teens' Wear
Dress - People Are People
Belt - Dorothy Perkins
Tights - Forever 21
Shoes - Mossimo

Outfit Of The Day: Pink Amidst the Black

The cold breeze and drizzle that evening made me layer up my clothing to keep me warm.
I can't believe its been raining for 2 weeks. You can almost forget we live in a tropical country.

I was invited by a new good friend to check out this new Korean restaurant in Il Terrazzo, Yoogane.
Next post will be about this awesome new place, perfect for those who aren't afraid of hot dishes! ;)

I wanted something warm, comfortable but still cute, in a way.
So this is what I came up with.

What I Wore:

Boyfriend cardigan - Hong Kong Ladies Market
Tank top - Debenhams
Bodycon skirt - Forever 21
Tights - Landmark
Socks - H&M
Chucks - Shoe Salon
Bag - Celine

Outfit Of The Day: Dark Hue Of Florals

It's not just a movie date night, it is the "Dark Knight" movie date night!

In lieu with the movie we planned to watch, I wanted to wear something a little darker but still girly.

The photos taken in the SM Mall Of Asia parking were taken past 12 midnight,
so I'm sorry for looking haggard. LOL

Thanks Jeff for taking my photos. <3

What I Wore:

Black tank top - Forever 21
Floral skirt - Forever 21
Cardigan -Jus Ur Size by SM Ladies Fashion
Sandals - People Are People

Outfit Of The Day: White & Black

Invest on classic, timeless pieces. They never go out of style.

A classic white polo and black shorts are just 2 of the must-have pieces for every fashionistas out there. These 2 pieces will go a long way. Dress them up, dress them down; the possibilities are endless.

This is what I wore to the Couleurs La Femme event held in One Esplanade, since they asked us guests to wear white. It actually became a joke because everyone thought / teased that I looked like a doctor. ;)

What I Wore:

White chiffon top - Thrifted
Black shorts - SM Ladies Fashion
Shoes and bag - Hong Kong

Outfit Of The Day: Casually Dressed Up

This could have been a nice date outfit. But nah, I wore it for the We Got DIBS 2 held in Urban Athletics last Saturday night. Yes, I know. This was a bit too "dressed up" for a hip hop / urban event, but I really don't care. If I'm in the mood to look girly and sophisticated, I will do it.

I love the contrast of the blue chiffon dress with the tailored white blazer. Again, contrasts make things more interesting, at least for me. :)
What I Wore:

White blazer - Topshop
Dress - Jellybean
Sandals - People Are People
Bag - Hong Kong

Outfit Of The Day: Tuck It In

Everything has rules. They are either shoved down your throat or accepted with all one's heart. The thing is, there are rules that are just meant to be broken. No, murder is not one of them. But the lighter things like dressing up (or down, for that matter) should be done or practiced with one's heart's content. Of course, you still want to be respected, but breaking (or bending) some of them is quite liberating..and fun. Try it once in a while and I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. :)

The fashion rule I love to break: When you're on the bigger side, never tuck in your top.

Outfit Of The Day: Coachella Mode

I've decided to let my leggings rest since it's summer.
It was really hard for me to adjust since I haven't been exposing my troso legs for quite some time now. Also, avoiding leggings/tights means I can't wear my mini skirts (especially because I commute everyday and I live in Sampaloc), so my only bottom option is shorts.

This particular humid summer day, I was in the mood of "dressing up" without the usual frills and florals, so I instantly thought of what I would wear for Coachella (if ever I would go).

This is what I came up with. :)

What I'm Wearing:

Madonna shirt - People Are People, 299php (on sale)
Denim shorts - SM Department Store (Plus Size), 599php
Boots - Babo, 1800php
Bag - H&M, 150HKD
Aviators - Forever 21, 225php
