Kerastase Ciment Thermique is a leave-in milk with vita-cement topseal. It's a heat-activated reconstructor milk that's formulated for weakened hair. It's a heat protectant product so it's perfect when you use styling irons and blow dryers.

This was included in the set that I bought. It came along with a hair treatment and shampoo. I got this after I bought the overnight repair serum.

I apply this after bath when I know I'll have to curl my hair with a curling iron. I use this and my heat-protectant spray to make sure my hair won't be damaged with the hot tool. This actually smells good. I only use a tiny amount so as not to weigh down my hair. It's quite pricey, but I've never been disappointed with Kerastase products so it's a good investment.

A few years back, I had a terrible salon experience that really scarred me (I mean my hair). I had my hair relaxed in this cheap salon (huge mistake!), one of those who offer "discounted packages". Their version of discounted hair relaxing packages left my hair fried. The kind of fried that turned my hair golden brown from black! They had to cut 4 inches off my hair just to get rid of the most damaged parts! It was so bad I didn't let any stylist touch my hair for almost a year.

So after mustering up the courage to go to a reputable salon and a better-paying job, I went to Fix in Trinoma to get a haircut and a treatment. The stylist, knowing what happened to my hair, suggested I get this Kerastase product. I was a bit appalled with the price (around P1.6-1.8k), but keeping in mind that this is a good investment, I went ahead and bought it.

Kerastase Noctogenist Serum Nuit for Thick Hair is an overnight softening leave-in treatment. It has a renewing effect, perfect for dull, tired-looking hair. I apply a pea-sized amount on my hair, concentrating on the lower half, at night before I sleep. I believe there's a lighter formula for fine hair, since this one has a tad heavy consistency. It is scented, but nothing bothersome. I seriously believe this helped in reviving my hair's life. I always wake up with soft locks whenever I use it. It's actually a part of my evening routine. Haha! If you have the money, I highly recommend you give it a try. :)
