First of all, I'm really not sure what's the name of the shade. I just assumed that it's No. 401 because it's the mlst obvious one on the packaging. If you know the correct shade name, leave it in the comment box by all means. :)

I'm pretty satisfied with my IN2IT eyebrow pencil, but since I couldn't pass this one up when the lovely people from Flormar SM Makati gave me a makeover and used this. 

Flormar Eyebrow Pencil in No. 401 works perfectly with my blonde hair. It's a creamy wax that's easy to apply. It's pretty long wearing, and I appreciate the brush attached to the cap. I believe it costs less than PHP200, so it's really a good deal. My only problem with it is that it needs to be sharpened, thus waste of product is inevitable. If they'll update the packaging, it would be perfect.

CONS: it needs to be sharpened (waste of product)

VERDICT:

 I will repurchase when I don't find something better.

Flormar Long Wearing Lipstick in L34 - Review, Photos, Swatches

Flormar Long Wearing Lipstick in L34 is a purple shade with hints of magenta. It looks a little crazy purple and intimidating on the tube, but its actually gorgeous and wearable. I find this a little sheer compared to the first Flormar lipstick that I own, so a little bit more swiping is needed for a full opaque look. It has decent hours of wear, and left a stain on my lips. Its formula is creamy, leaning towards glossy so it tends to slide. I would say the formula is like a combination of MAC's amplified creme and lustre.

PROS: not the usual shade you'll see available locally, can be worn as sheer or build it up, 2-3 hours of wear, doesn't have a distinct smell, locally available, reasonably priced
CONS: it tends to slide because of the glossy lipstick formula, would have loved it more if it was matte, opacity can do some improvement

VERDICT:

  I will definitely repurchase!

Whenever I'm in Watson's and the Beauty Department of SM Department Stores, I feel like a kid in a candy store. I always browse and check out the aisles to see what's new or if there's anything I'll fancy. I was at SM Megamall's Department Store when I saw this new makeup brand, Flormar.

Flormar, apparently, is a brand imported from Turkey. Of course, I gravitated towards their lipsticks, and let me tell you they have a lot of them. They have shades from nudes to the brights. I think they have the most number of lipstick shades I've seen in a department store! I saw several shades that I want, but I had to choose the long wearing ones. Let me show you the first lippie I got from them. :)

Flormar Long Wearing Lipstick in L23 is a bright pink shade. The lady told me it has a semi-matte finish, but I find it more like MAC's amplified creme finish. True to its name, its pretty long wearing for a rather affordable brand. Its formula doesn't feel heavy on my lips, and after a few hours and a good rice meal, a pretty pink stain was left on my lips. :) I also love the black packaging because it looks more sophisticated. Price-wise, I think its very reasonable.

It also looks a lot like MAC Pink Pigeon (only in a different finish) when swatched. So yes, that just made this lipstick worth the buy.

PROS: very pretty bright pink color, long wearing, comfortable formula to wear, doesn't have a distinct taste/smell, locally available, good dupe for MAC Pink Pigeon

CONS: I really can't think of any :)


VERDICT:

  I will definitely repurchase!
